Citing the military's need for portable night-vision friendly light, Pelican Products offers the VB3 2220NV LED as the latest addition to their VersaBrite family. The VB3 2220NV LED shines for more than 100 hours of burn time. The twin red LEDs preserve night vision while generating 5 1/2 lumens for tasks such as map reading. Designed for hands-free use, the VB3 2220NV LED features a built-in spring loaded clip that can be easily attached to a variety of surfaces, including uniforms, webbing belts and equipment vests up to 1/2-inch thick. The swivel head on the light activates a beam that can pivot to 180 degrees aiming light where it's needed. Lightweight and made of virtually indestructible Xylex, the VB3 2220NV LED isapproved for use in hazardous locations such as petrochemical environments.
